Philosophy

The Natives of Malaysia, having since time imme-morial been disadvantaged on many socio-economic fronts, debilitated by cultural shackles, and often backward in many aspects of life, must be saved from their situation and accorded due priority in the Foundation’s development prog-rams because only with the Natives enjoying progress can the Nation achieve true socio-economic progress and national unity through economic and interracial harmony.

The blessings that have made the Foundation come to reality are not given for indiscriminate spending but are assigned to the needy for defi-nite purposes. They are meant, first, foremost and lastly for the expansion and edification of the human capacities and the glorification of God. The pursuit is material as well as spiritual in gratitude to the Giver who made and grants everything.

THIS FOUNDATION is formed to strategize especially for the Malaysian Natives’ wellbeing, progress (mainly through socio-economic empowerment) and success. This challenging task is taken due to the following rationales:

1.    The outpouring of blessings had been granted on us following more than a decade of struggles and prayers, and we KNOW in no uncertain terms that the fund was not obtained through our  power but through the power and privilege from God. It is not our money, but God’s and has been passed through us for a task which we know is a Divine Assignment;

2.    The Natives of Sabah need to be saved from prolonged shadows and curses and cycles of poverty and abject poverty which have subjected them to a shame and debilitation, and prevented them  from benefitting from countless opportunities to progress in life;

3.    The children of Natives of Malaysia, while benefitting from various government programs, such benefits are few and far between and only given as tokens to appease and placate them. The reality is that they are severely disadvantaged and are heading towards a bleak future due to the following reasons:

    3.1    Being of poor native background, they are discriminated against in various arenas,             especially in the scholarship awards, placements in institutions of higher learning,                government jobs, and even subsidies and loans;

    3.2    Most of them are very poor and residing in the interior regions of the state, even in             villages without the normal amenities such as roads, electricity and running water               supply, hence without radios and TVs;

    3.3   Too many native pupils drop out of school after completing primary (elementary)                 schools because of poverty. Many leave school to get married at the age of as                     young as 15 and perpetuate the vicious cycles of poverty;

    3.4   The are severely deprived of health services, in part due to the often                                insurmountable distances of their villages from hospitals – reachable only through              days of boat rides, travel on foot, and by gravel roads. In such areas, women  in                labor have to be left to the skills of the village midwives which lack professional                   training or modern medical facilities in cases of difficult deliveries; and

    3.5   The new generation of Natives are forced to compete with the more aggressive                   immigrants who reside in the urban areas and thus enjoy access to numerous                     facilities, and are given priority for assistance, while the Native children grow up in             comparative ignorance in their remote and isolated jungle villages.

4.    The Natives are in urgent need of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to enable them to take quantum leaps in development, in order for them to escape the age-old doldrums;

5.    The Foundation will be able to give them a sense of hope, and to educate them towards self-reliance and progress, and thus together create a new chapter in their history;

6.    The Foundation’s efforts will contribute meaningfully to the progress of Malaysia; and

7.    We believe the funds available can be regenerated through international investments so as to be inexhaus-tible, hence there is no reason not to spend it in the wisest and godly way –  to help the underprivileged Na-tives of Sabah to become empowered and rise to be leaders in the community of other ethnic groups in their own motherland, and to be leaders of commerce and industry at the new global stage

Rationales

OUR PRINCIPAL motivation in establishing the Foundation is to answer the call of duty to come into the assistance, defense, and rescue of the Natives of Malaysia who are now disadvantaged in various fields of endeavors.

They are clearly unable to compete sufficiently well with the more ag-gressive immigrant groups, as they are also not empowered to grasp the reality of the advancing process of globalization which in reality is swallowing them up in the great cross-currents of human move-ments and interactions, and the speedy technological innovations within a borderless world.

The Natives need an effective help-ing hand to wake them up from their long slumber and equip and empo-wer them to compete more effec-tively in the face of fierce compe-titions.

They need to be made aware of their potentials and rights as citizens of the world and be given the assistance to move forward.
