KULUNGAN INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION

 

 

It is the desire of the Foundation to undertake concerted efforts to achieve the following Objectives:

 

1.    To create facilities and formulate development schemes in various socioeconomic          

       sectors to increase the people’s productivity as a means to alleviate their burden and

       suffering as a result of prolonged backwardness;

 

2.    To establish a Welfare Division to assist the Malaysian Natives in genuine needs in the

       areas housing, transportation, health and education. Those in dire situations, in need of

       urgent assistance, will be granted immediate rescue funds as temporary measures, and

       those orphaned or with disabilities and will be adopted as beneficiaries of the

       Foundation’s continuous welfare benefits;

 

3.    To establish a Native Training Institute to drastically change the Natives’ attitude and

       upgrade their skills in various practical fields as a mean to enhance their capabilities for

       higher productivity in agricultural, aquaculture, husbandry, and small- and medium-scale

       (cottage) industries;

 

4.   To establish an International Development Fund (IDF) which will be managed for

      continuous enhancement for the permanent financing of all Native development schemes

      and philanthropy;

 

5.   To assist all Native-based Associations, Co-operatives, and movements, giving higher                   priority to those focused on economic and entrepreneurial development with excellent                 track records;

 

6.    To assist Native-based evangelism which are evangelical, apostolic, pentecostal and                    grounded on the doctrines of the New Testament;

 

7.    To establish a Kulungan Foundation Research Institute (KUFRI)  to undertake studies    

       geared towards the effective solutions to the longstanding problems faced by the Natives            of Malaysia;

 

8.    Under the KUFRI, to establish a world-class Kulungan Christian Library for the benefit of

       local and international Christian authors, students, academics and leaders;

 

9.    To establish a nation chain of Native Minimarkets for the purpose of building a supported

       and guided body of Native entrepreneurs;

 

10.  To establish several Investment arms for the purpose of benefitting from various trading

        and investment opportunities in Malaysia and abroad; and

 

11.  On the overall to act as an organization which inspires the Malaysian Natives to new

       ideas, innovations, hope and confidence in themselves, with the pride and security of

       now having an institution to support and guide them.
